General Terms and Conditions of the Smart Energy Forum 2026 Conference

  1. Introductory Provisions
    1. These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”) govern the legal relations between the organizers of the Smart Energy Forum conference (hereinafter referred to as the “Conference”) and the participants of the event when purchasing tickets and participating in the Conference.
    2. The Smart Energy Forum conference will take place on March 25, 2026 at the Agrokomplex Nitra Exhibition Center.
    3. The organizers of the event are the companies:
      • Smart Energy Forum, s.r.o.

(hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Organizer”).

  1. Subject of Regulation These GTC regulate the conditions of sale of tickets for the Conference, payment of the participation fee, the rights and obligations of participants, as well as the liability of the Organizer and participants during the event.
  2. Tickets and Payment
    1. Tickets for the Conference are available through the online registration system provided by the Organizer.
    2. The ticket price is listed in the price list upon registration and includes VAT.
      • The participant is obliged to pay the ticket price in full to the account of the company Smart Energy Forum, s.r.o.
    3. After receiving the payment, the participant will be sent a registration confirmation and a ticket in electronic form.
    4. The ticket is non-refundable, however, the participant has the right to transfer their participation to another person after prior notification to the Organizer by e-mail.
  3. Cancellation of participation and changes
    1. In the event that the participant cannot participate, he is not entitled to a refund of the participation fee.
    2. However, the participant may transfer their ticket to another person free of charge after prior agreement with the Organizer.
    3. The Organizer reserve the right to change the program, location or format of the conference (e.g. to an online format) without a refund, as long as full participation in the event is ensured.
  4. Liability
    1. The organizer is not responsible for technical problems on the participant’s part (e.g. connection, equipment).
    2. The organizer is not responsible for damage caused by force majeure or events that cannot be predicted or influenced (e.g. pandemic measures, natural disasters).
  5. Personal data protection
    1. The personal data of participants are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.
    2. The participant agrees to the processing of personal data for the purposes of registration, invoicing, communication and organizational security of the conference.
    3. The organizers and the Agency may make photo and video recordings of the event for promotional purposes, and by participating in the conference, the participant expresses his/her consent to this processing.
  6. Final provisions
    1. These GTC shall enter into force on the date of their publication on the official website of the Conference.
    2. The purchase of a ticket constitutes the participant’s agreement to these GTC.
    3. Legal relations not regulated by these GTC shall be governed by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code of the Slovak Republic.
